Flood Insurance

According to the National Flood Insurance Program, 25% of flood insurance claims come from properties located in low to moderate risk areas. Flooding can result from hurricanes, tropical storms, broken levees, clogged drainage systems, changes in the development of land surrounding the property, or rapid rainfall.

Ask anyone whose property has been damaged by flooding about their experience. They will tell you that just a few inches of water inside your home or building can cause tens of thousands of dollars in damage. Property Insurance does NOT cover damage caused by flooding. The ONLY way to protect your investment in the case of a flood is by having Flood Insurance.

Flood Insurance is available through the National Flood Insurance Program. Click Here to visit their website for more information about protecting your property in the event of a flood. There is typically a 30-day waiting period from the time that you request flood insurance until it takes effect, so don't wait until the last minute to make the investment.

If your property is located in a high risk area for flooding, your lender will require you to carry flood insurance. However, even some folks whose property is located outside of a high risk area should consider protecting themselves with flood insurance. Click Here to access a flood map of your area.

Farm & Ranch Auto Insurance
Liability Insurance
Required by law in Texas, liability insurance is a fixed amount of coverage that pays for damages to other people or property that the insured is required to pay following an accident. Liability insurance does not cover the costs to repair your own vehicle.
Collision Insurance
Collision insurance covers the costs of repairing or replacing your car after an accident. Payment is based on your car's actual cash value (market value of a car like yours without damage) minus your deductible. Collision insurance is typically required by your lender until your car is paid off.
Comprehensive Insurance
Comprehensive insurance covers the costs of repairing or replacing your car if it receives damage in some way other than a collision (such as damage from flood, fire, vandalism, hail, or if it is stolen). Also covers temporary rental car expenses if your car is stolen. If your car is stolen, you must report the theft to the police. Payment is based on your car's actual cash value (market value of a car like yours without damage) minus your deductible. Comprehensive insurance is typically required by your lender until your car is paid off.
Uninsured / Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM)
Uninsured / Uninsured Motorist covers your expenses from an accident if you are hit by someone who either does not have insurance or does not have enough insurance to cover your bills (up to your policy's limits). This type of insurance also covers expenses from accidents caused by a hit-and-run driver if that accident is reported to police promptly.
Borrowed / Rented Vehicle
Covers comprehensive and collision damage to a leased or rented vehicle, as well as additional obligations that you have to the rental company. This is also called Hired Auto coverage.
Employee Vehicles

Towing and Labor
Towing and Labor covers towing charges when your car cannot be driven as well as labor charges related to services such as changing a tire at the location where your car became stranded.
Gap Insurance
